The Equality, Gender, and the Legal Profession Reading Group explores gender dynamics, work-life balance, and family friendly practices in law firms. We examine the historical development of work-life patterns, current practices in law firms, and innovative best practices that they may promote. We also consider practices in comparable professional fields. Our discussions are often spurred by recently published articles, a sample of which is provided below in addition to the current syllabus.
